Event Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by BCN SUP WORLD FEST

BCN SUP WORLD FEST reserves the right to cancel the event due to exceptional circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions, pandemics, natural disasters or other force majeure. In case of cancellation, sponsors and attendees will not receive a refund, but the amounts paid will be applied to the registration or sponsorship on the new scheduled date. BCN SUP WORLD FEST reserves, however, the right to reimburse contributions once recovered.

Cancellation by a SPONSOR

If a sponsor faces duly justified unforeseen circumstances that prevent its committed contribution, it will be offered the option of sponsoring the same or a similar event on a new date.

Cancellation by a PARTICIPANT

Unless otherwise indicated in the event documentation, a participant may cancel his/her attendance to the BCN SUP WORLD FEST according to the specified deadlines.

  • Up to 30 days prior to the start date of the event: A full refund will be made, with a service charge of (10%) of the total amount paid, for management expenses, provided that the attendee duly justifies the cancellation as a result of force majeure.
  • Less than 30 days before the date of the event: No refund will be made for cancellations received less than 30 days before the start date of the event. 
  • Cancellation due to injury: A refund of the registration fee may be requested in the event of injury. According to the following conditions: In case of injury or illness, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded minus 10% of the amount for management fees, if the participant’s medical certificate with the corresponding diagnosis is presented.

Additional information

Cancellation requests will only be accepted by e-mail (info@bcnsupworldfest.com) and must be received by the deadline established in your case. All cancellation requests must be made by the participant or the participant’s legal representative. Refunds will be made to the registrant’s account via bank transfer or credit card refund.
